What's Been Happening

Since I'll be leaving for the missions trip in two months, I'm trying to get a lot of stuff finished around the house. Apparently, its likely we will turn around and go back to VN for the baby soon after I return. I'm bouncing all over the place, painting this and that. Finally the bathroom is finished. And I put a valance in another bathroom. There aren't any curtains in this house! So I'm slowly working on that. I have to get curtains for the nursery and have no clue what to get. I need something plain.

We registered. Matt had so much fun with the gun. I wasn't allowed to touch it. I think it took three hours and he didn't complain once. What man likes to shop?!

Tonight we went to Carters for some footie pjs. He's good thru next winter. I still haven't gotten the baby socks or little shoes that I want. I want a pair of Robeez!

I finished most of the paperwork that we'll need to take on our trip. I one more thing and then copies and we're good. Next task, the lists.

I have to figure out what I want to take. Two suitcases. That's it! I'm a horrible packer. I want to take everything...just in case!

Decisions, decisions. Very nice four-star hotel or a fully furnished apartment with washer/dryer? If we do the apartment, we can take less clothing. If we do the hotel, nice restaurants in case we can't leave the hotel, lots of amenities. Thoughts???

I'm off to look at hotels again. And to work on my lists of things to take. Suggestions for things to add to my packing lists welcome.

I thought I had it all together. We had over nine months to figure all of this out. Now I'm mush. We're so excited about bringing the baby home!!!! Then next three months, one week, and two days are going to fly by.

OH! The biggest news.........Thanks to my awesome friend, I'm going to be able to meet and spend time with the baby when I'm in VN for the missions trip!!! I'm torn because Matt won't be with me but it will be ok. I'm sure someone will video all of it.

Its all so exciting!!
