First, I want to send my thoughts and prayers to those who received bad news about referrals and TA this week. I almost feel guilty talking about what's going on with us. I know what its like to watch people get referrals and travel as I waited. While you're happy to hear the news, you secretly wish it was you.
We received our visas today. We also have our plane tickets. We used Todd the adoption travel guru. I would highly recommend him. He was extremely helpful! Our tickets came FedEx on Saturday morning.
The hotel in HCMC that we were planning to stay at is booked. So we're waiting for confirmation from another hotel. As soon as we get that confirmation, we'll be set. We have to pack and clean the house and do odds and ends and we're ready.
I don't have a packing list. I need to sit down and do that. The baby is packed and has been for a while. And I have to decide what we want to put in our carry-ons.
One week from today we'll be on a plane.
